List
In HTML, there area unit 2 varieties of lists:
- unordered lists
- the list things area unit marked with bullets
- ordered lists -
the list things area unit marked with numbers or letters
With CSS, lists are often titled more, and pictures are often used
because the list item marker.
Different List Item Markers
The type of list item marker is nominative with the list-style-type
property:
Some of the values area unit for unordered lists, and a few for ordered
lists.
An Image because the List Item Marker
To specify a picture because the list item marker, use the
list-style-image property:
When using the shorthand property, the order of the values are:
- list-style-type
-
list-style-position (for an outline, see the CSS properties table below)
- list-style-image
It doesn't matter if one in all the values on top of area unit missing,
as long because the rest area unit within the nominative order.
